  1. Thank you Monique!! It was a pleasure meeting you and I’m so happy that I was able to help with your sisterlocks! I pray that your journey is still going well. And I’m definitely here for you the next time you’re in Atlanta and would like your hair done.

  2. Thank you so much Ebony!! I’m honored that you chose me to take care of you and your daughters hair. It makes me feel good to know that my love for my work and healthy hair shows and is appreciated. The past 4 (now going on 5) years has flown by! And I know it’s mostly due to you all making me feel so welcomed and taking me in as part of the family during our hair visits. I look forward to many more years of healthy hair and friendship with you.

Thank you for your continued support and encouragement!

  3. As a mother of three girls and so much hair to manage, I needed help. I decided to go natural after my 2nd daughter (2011) and after my third daughter (2013) I was still not happy about my hair condition. I had little time for personal hair maintenance and set my mind on Sisterlocks. I began asking around and doing some homework as I was determined to find a Locktician that I could trust.

This was the best hair decision I ever made, after 4 years of using Nyesha…all I can say is “I LOVE MY HAIR”. It’s been a journey and I definitely picked the right partner. She is knowledgeable, skilled and puts my mind at ease when I get “concerned” about a difficult area.

Nyesha is a skilled mobile stylists that has literally become part of our family. She started twisting my girls hair when I broke my finger and very few people have been able to accomplish this task without complaints from them (or me).

Thank you for your expertise, patience and professionalism.

  4. Nyesha is amazing. She is perfessional and well educated on sistalocs and the process. I was highly pleased with the services. From having multiple bad experiences she was able to reassure me and repair my damaged hair. I recommend her for yiur natural hair services. You will be satisfied!!!

  5. Hello
Thanks for posting this amazing blog. It consists of very useful information. The language you used in this is very simple & easy to understood. Post some more blogs related to “kinky hair extensions” It would be really helpful for those girls who want to look gorgeous in party or any other function.
    Thanks & Regards.

  6. I currently i have starter twist, how much is it typically to wash and retwist starter locs?

  9. It’s nearly impossible to find experienced people in this particular topic, but
you sound like you know what you’re talking about!

  10. Having read this I thought it was extremely informative.
I appreciate you taking the time and effort to
put this short article together. I once again find myself personally spending
way too much time both reading and posting comments.
But so what, it was still worthwhile!

  11. Good morning, I just came across your YouTube channel. I was wondering if you offer classes for interlocking, palm roll, box braiding? If you don’t offer any classes, but if know anyone in Atlanta Ga that do.

  18. Hi Monique, So glad that you enjoy the blog and that you find the information here helpful. Keep up the good work with your locs !

    Healthy Locs

  19. i’m viewing your page via a post on FB. i have never even considered organic locs. never heard the term before, but really like the idea. i’ve been so caught up in my locs looking as perfect as possible but the longer i have them (3 years now) i realize perfect wasn’t what i initially wanted.

i’m going to wash my hear this weekend, as always, but i’m not going to spend so much time trying for that “just done” look.

the great thing about locs is if i don’t like the look i can always wet them and back comb as usual.

    THANKS! great site
